Watercolour is one of the most versatile and portable mediums you can use, but it requires planning and understanding to achieve the best effects. In this workshop you will learn about the characteristic of watercolour and how to control them to create a range painted studies.
We will set up the perfect palette for you, and create some colour wheels and colour mixing charts as a reference you can use to develop your knowledge further.

Jane Blundell has been painting in watercolour for over 35 years and is a professional artist and teacher and a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute. She is a passionate sketcher and while she works in all mediums, her favourite is watercolour. She paints anything – urban landscapes, flowers, rocks, people, still life, whatever – usually from life.
